Refund policy

We have a 3-day return policy, which means you have 3 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Due to the personal nature of the items we sell, we limit what can be returned to unused products.  
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


 

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

  • All soaps and body products are handmade in small batches. Colors, scents, shapes, and weight may vary slightly from image.
     
  • Products may contain essential oils, fragrance oils, nut oils, and in some cases walnut.
     
  • Products are for external use only. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
     
  • We are not responsible for allergic reactions, skin sensitivities, misuse of products, or other underlying medical conditions that could be reactive to some of our ingredients.

 


 

  • Products may contain Essential Oils or Fragrance Oils that are considered "warming," which can irritate mucus membranes.
  • Customers are responsible for reviewing ingredient lists before purchase.
  • As with all products, if you are pregnant or nursing, please consult with your physician before using.

  • Orders are accepted through our website, Etsy shop, Facebook, and in person at approved markets.
  • Full payment is required at checkout.

Returns & Exchanges

 

  • Due to the personal nature of soap and body care products, we cannot accept returns or exchanges once shipped, unless the product is damaged or defective.
     
  • If you receive a damaged item, contact us within 3 days of delivery with your order number and photos.
     

 

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sassafras Holler Handcrafted Goods LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability will not exceed the purchase price paid.
