Our Palm Oil Commitment
Palm oil is an important ingredient in many of our handcrafted soaps because it contributes to a hard, long-lasting bar with a rich, creamy lather.
We understand that palm oil production has raised environmental concerns in some parts of the world. Because of that, we have chosen to source our palm oil from BrambleBerry, whose palm oil is sourced through the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) certified supply chain.
Supporting responsibly sourced palm oil encourages improved environmental and social practices while helping sustain the livelihoods of millions of people who depend on palm cultivation around the world.

Every Sassafras Holler product is handcrafted in small batches in Harvest, Alabama. Small-batch production allows us to maintain close attention to detail throughout the entire process—from measuring ingredients to pouring, curing, labeling, and packaging each product.
Our commitment is to create products that we would proudly use in our own homes and share with our own families.
On occasion, we have some "oops" soaps that we sell for discounted prices. We are human!
